The Pheasant Project
To ensure that education is the root of all of our projects, we will start from the beginning, the egg. Our pheasant project will have multiple phases to ensure the youth hunters learn not only about the animal and it's habitat but about our hunting heritage and its connection to wildlife conservation.
Our project will consist of:
Phase one pheasant farm - date to be determined.
Phase two pheasant egg incubation and hatching
Phase three raising the pheasants
Phase four firearms training
Phase five the hunt
If you have a youth interested in taking part in the pheasant project, please get in touch with us via email or the contact form
We will also be choosing four youth hunters. They will each be guided on the youth pheasant hunt in October. If you have a youth that has not had the opportunity to go pheasant hunting or would like to nominate a youth hunter, please let us know, and we can help you get them signed up.
